We are looking for a detail oriented and analytical Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations, including managing transactions, payroll, and compliance with financial regulations. You will be a part of the Finance Team reporting directly to the CFO and you will work in our office in beautiful Paphos, Cyprus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure all records are accurate.
• Ensure timely execution of bank payments.
• Prepare monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns in accordance with regulations.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations, keeping the company in good standing.

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree or several years of experience from working as an accountant.

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills in all tasks.
